The 2009 Workshop was held at the prestigious Charing Cross Hotel, in the heart of London.

This hotel was selected because of a particularly effective blend of facilities, location, and standards. The Charing Cross hotel is a five star operation, located near a wide range of entertainment and dining opportunities.

Convenient for both workshop purposes and for personal activities for those who are so inclined, it is also easily reached from airport or rail.  As with the other venues we've selected over the years, delegates found this choice of location to meet their needs very capably.  On top of that, attendees found the special conference rate we negotiated for this hotel to be quite attractive.

A Dining Experience

We always build a fine evening dining experience into the program.  In 2008, the evening meall took place on the Symphony, a 'best of breed' watercraft that will travel along the Thames. Delegates enjoyed the sights and sounds of the waterfront as they dined on a first class menu in fully glass lined private accommodations.

An Engaging Tour

Last year we also reserved private cars on the London Eye for an moment of relaxation prior to dinner.  A world famous icon of London, a wonderful opportunity to see the City from above, and a tremendous feat of engineering, the London Eye offered a unique opportunity for CIOs at the workshop to interact in a relaxed and interesting setting.  As they took the trip around the wheel, they had a choice of hors d'oeuvres and wine or other beverages, and depending on their personal preferences either quitely watched the world go by or engaged in discussions with their peers.

Top Notch Facilities

During the conference, delegates had access to first-rate business conveniences, including modern conference facilities, high speed internet access, and a business services center that serves their needs with speed and confidence. After hours, they were able to dine in the hotel, enjoy local night life, or relax in their rooms as their inclinations and needs suggested.
